Oh, No! Disney Movies Have Dirty Little Secrets, Too
You have probably seen a movie and discovered an "Easter Egg" while you were watching. An Easter Egg is something that is hidden in plain sight. While some of them are humorous and intended for some type of entertainment value, some Easter Eggs are downright dirty. This is especially true about Disney films, which most people assume are meant for kids. Some animators like to have a little fun, but these types of messages tend to push the limit a little too far.
Hercules (1997)
Hercules is about the Greek demi-god of the same name. In the film, Hercules must defend Mount Olympus from the imprisoned Titans and the demi-god Pluto. This film did very well in the box office and spawned a marketing frenzy of video games, television shows and such.
Something is Definitely Not Right Here
After an uppercut to the River Guardian, Hercules flies into the air and lands. As he lands, a lump grows on his head. A horseshoe then falls on the lump. Look very closely and it resembles male genitalia. Woah, nelly!
Toy Story (1995)
Toy Story is a movie animated by Pixar and released by Disney, about a boy who gets a new toy. One of the toys (Woody) feels left out because of the appearance of a new and advanced toy (Buzz Lightyear).
A Subliminal Toy Complete with Parts
There is a toy with Barbie doll legs and a hook. The toy is a symbolic "hooker." What weird and twisted minds thought to make this!
The Lion King (1994)
The Lion King is a movie about a young lion who is duped into believing that he murdered his father, when in fact it is his uncle who murdered the young lion's father. For a film that is aimed at children, this seems like some pretty heavy stuff.
A Certain Word Spelled Out that You Will See Several Times in This Article..
When the young lion (Simba) falls, some dusts flies into the air. It spells out a certain three-letter word that is a physical activity for adults. One of the animators said that the word is actually SFX for the special effects department. Disney claimed that this was an innocent mistake, but many people aren't buying that explanation.
A Bug's Life (1998)
A Bug's Life is an "innocent" story about an ant who tries to recruit a group of tough bugs in order to battle a rival gang of harassing grasshoppers. Although the film is targeted towards children, this film is loaded with adult humor and innuendo.
A Little Adult Humor Among Bugs
There is a scene in A Bug's Life when Francis meets one of the Fly Brothers. One of the fly brother's says, "Hey, cutie! Wanna pollinate with a real bug?" This is a direct reference to an adult activity that I will not mention.
The Rescuers (1977)
The Rescuers is a film about two cute little mice who set forth to rescue an orphan. This seems like an innocent enough film -- a cute couple of mice doing good. But something always has to happen to screw the movie up.
A Little Slowed Down Nudity
A scene in The Rescuers shows the mice in a sardine can taking a ride. Slowing down the scene reveals a topless woman in a window. This movie was recalled from video stores because of the hidden scene.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988)
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a cartoon about a human detective who helps a cartoon rabbit clear his name of a murder he did not commit. It was a highly successful film which spawned Disney's animation renaissance.
Nothing is Down Below
There is a scene in the movie where Jessica Rabbit is thrown from a vehicle. Her dress comes up and she does not have any underwear on.
Cars (2006)
Cars is an animated tale about a car that gets lost on a way to a race and is befriended by the people in a town called Radiator Springs.
A Flashing of Sorts
A scene in the film shows a car being "flashed" by two female cars. The hidden message is that the flashing lights were used to imply a woman lifting up her shirt and flashing a man.
A Long Road Ahead
Like a lot of other Disney movies, Cars has a lot of suggestive adult humor that you might miss if you weren't looking for it. Much of this movie takes place on the road, as Lightning McQueen is travelling to California for a tiebreaker race of the Piston Cup.
Excellent Service
While on the road, the cars drive by "Top Down Truckstop" where they advertise "All Convertible Waitresses." Because all the characters in this world are cars, the waitresses at this truck stop might be all convertible cars. This could also be seen as a play on words, since the waitresses might possibly offer more, as the sign suggests.
The Little Mermaid (1989)
The Little Mermaid is a film about a mermaid (of course) who has a desire to become a human being.
Do I hear wedding bulge???
There is a priest in the film who has a bulging crotch which is very visible during the wedding scene.
A Seemingly Innocent Cover
The Little Mermaid's title poster depicts all of the movie's main characters in a fun and colorful scene surrounding King Triton's underwater castle. Innocent, right?
Look a Little Closer..
Wrong. Many people have scrutinized the image, saying that phallic imagery was purposefully drawn into the scene.
Fantasia (1940)
Fantasia is a movie about Mickey Mouse as a wizard. It's a musical film, based on classical music.

Chef Linguini explains his little problem to Colette. While he says that Remy the rat is doing all of the cooking, Colette looks at his private area. Very subliminal, not to mention embarrassing.
Tarzan (1999)
Tarzan is the story of a man raised by chimps. It seems like a nice transition from book to film. Tarzan is primal, but he is the basest of sorts in this movie!

In the film when Tarzan meets Jane for the first time, he gets a little too touchy-feely. You can see that Jane is uncomfortable with Tarzan laying right in her bosom.

Cinderella is the classic retelling of a young woman who has to deal with her cruel stepmother until her fairy godmother cheers her up and brightens her life with a Prince Charming.
Simulated Scene Which Depicts Something Obvious
The scene where the mouse threads beads onto Gus' tail seems pretty graphic if you pause it in the right place.
Bambi (1942)
Bambi is about a deer and his animal friends who play delightfully in the forest around them, but hunters spoil the fun and put the animals in terrible danger. There are some scenes in the film, such as the ice scene, which put Bambi in very awkward positions.
The Magic of the Pause Button, You See Everything.
While exploring the woods, Bambi and Thumper hit the ice. While Thumper tries to help Bambi out, you can obviously see this is a pretty graphic nose-to-tail scene.
Call me "Flower"
In addition to Thumper, Bambi meets a lot of other woodland creatures along the way. In a bed of flowers, he encounters a charming skunk, whose name is "Flower" ironically. Flower is very sweet and flirty, whose charm affects those around her, as can be seen in the next slide.
Turning Red
Flower kisses a fellow skunk, who has quite a reaction. He gets shy at the kiss, turning red and stiff, then rolling over. We can think of other parts of the body that get stiff when the excitement of kissing is involved.
The Emperor's New Groove (2000)
The Emperor's New Groove tells the tale of an egotistical teen emperor who gets turned into a llama at the expense of his evil adviser, Yzma, and her henchman, Kronk. Yzma and Kronk's dynamic is such that although Kronk is strong and overpowering, he is dimwitted and easy to control, which Yzma uses to her advantage.
Suggestive Sleeping Arrangements
In one scene, Yzma and Kronk had set up camp during their search for Kuzco, after Kronk loses him post-llama transformation. Yzma has a big luxurious tent but Kronk, as hugely muscular as he is, has a small tent that barely covers his body. But think about the placement of this tiny tent in relation to Kronk's body. Is this a way to symbolize that Kronk is "pitching a tent"?
A Goofy Movie (1995)
A Goofy Movie follows Goofy and his son, Max, on an epic road trip. Goofy, wanting to bond with his son, takes a begrudging Max on a fishing trip. Along the way, they face many obstacles, including an encounter with the wilderness mythical creature, Big Foot.
The Hidden Monster
After escaping, Goofy and Max drive away as Big Foot rummages through their boxes of clothing. Big Foot finds a pair of underwear, unsure of what it is, and comically puts it on his head. While his hair sprouts out of the leg holes, Big Foot discovers another hole in the underwear, out of which he peeks with his eye. This image makes Big Foot the "one-eyed monster," in more ways than one.
Aladdin (1992)
This classic Disney tale follows a thief, Aladdin, who falls for the Princess of Agrabah, Jasmine. After finding a lamp in the Cave of Wonders and unleashing a magical genie, who grants him three wishes, Aladdin uses one of his wishes to become a prince so that he can woo Princess Jasmine. In one scene, Aladdin uses his magic carpet to fly up to Jasmine's balcony. Many have argued about what is heard next.
Misheard Words
As Aladdin enters the balcony, the audio that is heard is interpreted as "Good teenagers, take off your clothes." It is unclear as to which character is saying this. Could it be Aladdin as he enters Jasmine's bedroom? Could it be Genie as he and the carpet are eavesdropping below the balcony? Either way, many believe that this scene was intentionally sexualized because of these misheard lines. Disney has defended this, saying that the script actually has Aladdin say, "C'mon... good kitty. Take off and go," to Jasmine's pet tiger that growls at him.
Toy Story 3 (2010)
In the final installment of Disney's Toy Story franchise, Andy's toys mistakenly end up at a daycare center. There, they meet a plethora of other overly-used and mistreated toys, as well as a menacing stuffed bear named Lotso.
A Mouthful of Innuendos
In an altercation between Andy's toys and Lotso, Mrs. Potatohead characteristically gets a little mouthy as she talks back to the evil bear. Lotso then pulls off her mouth to make her stop talking, after which Mr. Potatohead comes to her defense saying, "Hey, nobody takes my wife's mouth except me!" Take from that what you will.
Frozen (2013)
One of Disney's latest major blockbusters is Frozen, which is about two princesses who navigate the world of love and self-acceptance. Anna sets on a journey to bring back her sister, Elsa, who has run away because she was ashamed of her powers. For the journey, Anna enlists the help of Kristoff to help her navigate the treacherous winter landscape.
Size Doesn't Matter
During the journey, Anna talks to Kristoff about Prince Hans, who she has fallen in love with but later finds out after the journey (surprise, surprise) that he is evil and was only using her to take over her family's kingdom. But during their talk, Kristoff questions Anna about her love for Hans, rattling off a bunch of random questions such as Hans's favorite food and eye color. Finally, Kristoff asks, "Foot size?" To which Anna innocently replies, "Foot size doesn't matter..."
Peter Pan (1953)
Peter Pan is the classic tale of the boy who never, or would never, grow up. In Disney's version, we meet Wendy and her two younger brothers. Wendy loves the tales of Peter Pan but is upset at her father who tells her that she is becoming too old for them and her little brothers. Later that night, Peter Pan himself pays Wendy and her brothers a little visit.
Accidental Imagery?
In this scene, Peter Pan can be seen playing with his shadow with the light of the children's bedroom. No one can be sure if the animators knew that the shadow of Peter's shirt would produce such a suggestive image, but there you have it.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996)
Probably one of Disney's more forgotten classics, The Hunchback of Notre Dame tells the tale of Quasimodo, a deformed man who lives inside the famed cathedral during 15th-century Paris. One day Quasimodo is encouraged to go out in public during the Festival of Fools, which only ends badly as he is publicly humiliated. Esmerelda, a gypsy, frees him from his shame, much to the dismay of Frollo, the minister of justice. Frollo demands that Esmerelda be detained, but she escapes with magic.
A Firey Scene
In one scene, Esmerelda is seen dancing in flames. Many would take this moment to notice how overtly voluptuous Esmerelda's body is underneath all her gypsy clothes. Her dress, at one point, seems to be non-existent. Many have argued that this scene is too sexually graphic for a children's movie. Oh, and what word can be seen in the flames? Take a wild guess.
