Designs So Bad, Those Responsible Should Feel Ashamed
Look, we all make mistakes sometimes. I understand that we can't all be perfect all of the time. Some mistakes are bigger than others, though. This list is full of some really big design fails that have us shaking our heads. Keep reading to see some people who messed up royally.
Hopefully, we can all learn from their (very big) mistakes so we aren't doomed to repeat them. Trust me, you don't want to end up in one of these sticky situations.
That Cheese Looks Moldy
Someone decided that it would be a good idea to put little green stamps in between these slices of cheese.
Now the cheese looks moldy. It was not a good call.
Poor Window Placement
Why install two windows in a bathroom if you can't open both of them at the same time?
This just seems like a failure of engineering. Whoever designed this setup shouldn't be allowed to design anything else for a while.
That's Not A Fox
I am 100% sure that this animal is a raccoon and not a fox.
Maybe "raccoon" is too long of a word for this puzzle, but they could have just included a picture of a fox.
The Worst Staircase
Whoever designed these intersecting staircases must not have been very concerned about safety.
I'm sure people have gone tumbling down these steps on more than one occasion. This is such a bad idea.
A Very Relaxed Fish Lady
Whoever designed this sign obviously didn't realize they had created some kind of perverse mermaid.
Though if you want to see said perverse mermaid, head 10 meters down the road.
No Ramp?
Someone had the forethought to install automatic doors on this building, but they didn't have the forethought to place the button that opens said doors near an accessibility ramp.
Why even have the automatic doors?
Unfortunate Packaging
If you're going to make underwear that says the word "diesel" on it, make sure you aren't only showing the part of the word that spells "die."
Even "sel" would have been better.
Those Aren't Fish
I have so many questions about this coloring sheet. First of all, why would a whale and a turtle get together and have a baby?
Also, I'm pretty sure neither whales nor turtles are fish.
A Very Hot Bench
I don't know who saw these sheets of metal and thought that they would make a great park bench, especially in a very hot environment.
Just be careful not to sit on this thing while wearing shorts.
A Carpeted Bathroom
I'm sorry, but there is absolutely no excuse for this kind of bathroom situation. You can't have carpet coming up the sides of your bathtub.
This is just a recipe for mold.
They Don't
I know that this café is trying to show that coffee and donuts go well together...
But they could have done that with two puzzle pieces that actually look like they remotely fit together.
Poor Bench Design
This slatted bench is not only very uncomfortable to sit on, but it also traps stray cell phones like nobody's business.
There's no way to get around to the other side to fish out dropped electronics.
There Was An Attempt
There was an attempt to make this path difficult to cross for cyclists.
But it looks like cyclists just found another way to get from point A to point B.
I Don't Even Know
I'm sorry, but how did every other worker in this piggy bank factory manage to put the eyes in the right spot?
Meanwhile, this one pig comes out looking like the sloth from Ice Age.
A Short Shower
Believe it or not, this girl is only five foot seven.
She walked into her college dorm for the first time and realized that the top of her head probably wouldn't be getting clean for a while.
A Faulty Candle
This candle holder is made out of a kind of plastic that melts when it gets too close to a flame. So I guess this candle is useless now.
Who could be this dumb?
A Little More To The Right
Either someone doesn't know how to paint a crosswalk in the right place, or the walkable parts of these two sidewalks never lined up in the first place.
Still, you could make an angled crosswalk.
Drains Are Important
Reddit user MidnaMagic posted this photo online and wrote, "School does some renovations."
