If you're the parent of a picky eater, you've heard just about every excuse in the book for why a certain food is not good enough for your child to eat. Your kid might not even be a picky eater, but there's definitely been at least one time where they refused to eat something and the reason made absolutely no sense.

The grapes were suddenly too spicy that day, or the mac and cheese was the wrong color, so now they're convinced you're trying to poison them.
