Sometimes, humans can be impulsive or forgetful. That's okay, but it should be known that not thinking before you act comes with consequences. Generally, good advice is to think things through, even just for a second.
Whether it be a melted cutting board, a failed design, or unexpected dimensions, doing something without thinking twice about it usually doesn't end well. These are some examples of when things clearly went wrong because someone didn't think it through.
