Lindsay's friend, Julie Jackson, captured the aftermath of a mimosa-fuelled brunch date that resulted in a near emergency situation.

Thankfully, the restaurant staff was there to spring into action when they realized what was happening.

The video was first shared on Facebook and quickly racked up over 2.3 million views on the original post before it was shared on Twitter, Reddit, and Instagram.

Lindsay took "bottoms up" to heart when she reached for a friend's jacket while getting ready to leave the restaurant.

The prosecco-filled party came crashing down when it was time to leave and Lindsay reached for a jacket that had fallen behind the sofa they had been sitting on.

She suddenly found herself flipping forward behind the sofa, unable to get her hands back up to pull herself free.

Unable to get herself upright, Lindsay's friends jumped into action to try to pull her out, but after about five minutes of struggling and tugging on her legs, they were unable to get her free.

By this point, restaurant staff had taken notice of the chaotic scene and made their way over to help.

Lindsay's friend Julie, who shared the video, recalled some of the hilarity: "She was stuck for about 10 minutes in total."

The staff had rushed to Lindsay's rescue and Julie explained that they were all "lovely," adding that "they could have been funny about it but they were really nice. It's not a birthday I'll forget.”
