Couple Starts Conversation Over Viral ‘Sleeping In Separate Beds’ Video

Once you accept that, things get easy. For Chrissy and Tom Clark, they found a sleeping situation that works for them, and sparked huge debate with others.

How It Started For Chrissy

Chrissy Clark is no different from anyone else. One year, she became really sick and developed a persistent cough.

"Because of my cough, one of us would end up sleeping on the couch or in the guest bedroom," she said.

Chrissy posted the viral video on her TikTok after someone said society should start normalizing not sleeping with your partner.

According to Chrissy, the two didn't stop sleeping in separate rooms after that gnarly cough went away.

"After the cough went away, we kept sleeping in the other rooms because we both had much better sleep for several reasons," she said.

"Sleep quality has improved our marriage," she said. "I am not cranky, and neither is he. We still cuddle in bed and watch TV, but when it is time to sleep, he will go to his bedroom to sleep."
