Woman Unlocks New Fear When Her Carwash Takes An Unexpected Turn
Giving your car a car wash can be a nice thing to do.
A woman on TikTok did not have a very pleasant experience when she took her car through the car wash.
Going Through The Car Wash
She begins by recording the soap bubbles coming down over her windows.
It is always pretty cool to see the colored bubbles fall down the windshield of the car when you're in the car wash.
Water Started To Flow In
Next is when we start to realize that something is not right.
Some of the soapy bubbles and water are coming into her car and onto the passenger seat's floorboard.
Doesn't Know What To Do
Sydney then turns the camera around to her face where we can see the panic setting in.
She says that she does not know what to do and that she doesn't want the inside of her car washed like that.
It Kept Rushing In
When she flips the camera back around to the passenger side we see that things are getting worse.
The pool of soapy water is getting bigger and it doesn't seem like it's letting up.
Giving The Update
The initial video received over 18 million views.
Since there was so much interest she posted a follow up video explaining what happened when she took her car in to the shop to get looked at.
Her Drains Were Blocked
The mechanic showed her pictures from the inside of her car.
He said that the drains on the outside of her hood were clogged. This was the reason why there was water coming in.
Both Drains Were Clogged
It was not just the one drain either.
The mechanic pointed to a second area under her hood where another drain was blocked. Both of the drains were blocked with leaves and other debris.
Came In Through The Air Conditioner
As a result of both of the drains being blocked, the water began to build up inside the hood.
The water was able to then come into her car through the air conditioning vent.
Should Have Honked Her Horn
She said that before this incident she never had an issue with something like this happening in a car wash.
She says that she should have honked her horn right when the water began rushing in.
Offering Up Some Advice
She also offered up some advice for people going through car washes.
She says to remember to never roll down your windows or open your door when you're in a carwash.
