In today’s social media dominated world, it can be hard to get your kids to open a book. Why would they read something by an author they’ve never heard of when they can go on YouTube instead? The good news is there’s a solution to your problem. As you’re about to learn, several very famous celebrities have written children’s books just to make life a little easier. We know your little tyke will turn off the tablet to read a “”happy” story written by Pharrell!
Kelly Clarkson Wrote a Book Inspired By Her Daughter
When Kelly Clarkson wrote River Rose and the Magical Lullaby, she named the main character after her young daughter. The story follows Rose, who finds herself in a magical dream world, guided by the voice of her mother. At the end of the book, there’s a link to a lullaby performed by Clarkson.
Writing the book offered the American Idol winner a new challenge. She’s even said that writing the book was harder than any song she’s ever written, but she felt like she had to try, saying, “It’s so helpful with learning. I thought it would be cute to combine the lullaby and the River Rose stories.”
