Florida Family Finds Old, Wrapped Christmas Gifts In Late Grandparents Attic
Can you imagine receiving a gift from someone you lost years ago? Receiving presents for the holidays is normal, but getting them from the dead isn't something many have the chance of experiencing.
For Holly Pomeroy and her family, Christmas 2021 was one they'll never forget.
Meet Holly Pomeroy
Pomeroy is a mother of four living in Florida with her husband. Like many American families, Christmas is a staple in her home.
In 2021, she and her family got the most unexpected presents ever.
Such A Big Family
Here is a happy photo of the kids posing in front of the Christmas tree.
They had no clue their mother would get a hidden surprise better than their gifts!
Loving Her Life
It's not as if she doesn't already love her life. The holidays only add to the magic she experiences.
"The second Christmas with the love of my life," Pomeroy added. "Not only am I blessed with him, but his package deal."
Not Prepared For What She Found
Imagine you lost a part of your family years ago, but they found a way to be with you physically.
That's pretty much what happened to Pomeroy and her family members.
Losing Her Grandpa
This is a picture of her grandpa, and one of her sons before gramps passed away.
It looks like he developed a bond with the kid early on, which would lead to his next move.
One Last Gift
When 2021 Christmas strolled around, Pomeroy's cousin made the ultimate discovery in the attic. They were gifts!
There was one for her, Pomeroy's sister, and her dad. That's such a special moment.
Trying To Put The Pieces Together
There were so many gifts left behind Pomeroy had to become a detective to learn when her grandparents left them.
Based on this TikTok, it seems as if they left the goods way before 2008, but after 1995.
Others Chime In
Posting a heartfelt, wild story like this usually means you're going to go viral on TikTok.
"My grandma knew she was dying and bought a Christmas present for us the year she passed, she died in June, and I balled so much seeing her handwriting," shared Amber Lynn Herrman.
Trying On The Gifts!
In an interesting turn of events, Pomeroy found out she received almost identical gifts from those who passed away.
"Something I've put on almost every Christmas list is a cozy blanket. My grandparents were making sure I still got something I love from them one last time," she said.
Keeping The Love Going
Excuse me as I wipe my tears. Pomeroy for sure had a special 2021 Christmas.
"My grandfather had gifts for us for every visit, whether it was a holiday or not," she said in one video.
